Summary
Jacques is the curmudgeonly owner of a New York dive bar who is determinedly drinking and smoking himself to death. When he meets Lucas, a homeless young man who has already given up on life, he concocts a plan to keep his legacy alive. Jacques takes Lucas under his wing, schooling him in the male-centric laws of his alcoholic clubhouse. Their friendship is tested when Lucas wishes to help a young woman thus defying one of Jacques' laws - no women
