One of five brothers, Zachary begins life on a charmed note: born in Montreal on Christmas, he almost dies but miraculously pulls through. His hard-working father seems to favor him. That is until his dad detects there's something a little queer about the boy. Indeed, Zac shows even more queer signs come adolescence, aping David Bowie's glam looks and sexually experimenting with a boy from the neighborhood.
