Summary
Based on true events, this story is narrated by the deceased Bibi Chen, an art dealer who arranges a tour of China and Burma for twelve of her friends and clients. She predeceases the tour, which still goes ahead. The group is kidnapped by Karen tribesmen, but are unsure if this is part of their adventure, and one of them, a surly teenager, is presumed to be a god by the tribe
