The trio

Zobel, a macho gay man in his late 40s, lives an itinerant life with his pretty, tomboyish daughter Lizzie and his lover Karl. The three have long worked train stations and carnivals as pickpockets--skilled professionals at the game who each play a particular role in distracting their marks. When a car hits Karl, they are reduced to an awkward, bereft twosome. Lizzie finds as a replacement the town misfit, Rudolf, who rapidly takes to the family trade as father and daughter both take rapidly to the rough trade in their midst
