Originally Lulu was created by Lou Reed as a theatrical production in Berlin. After meeting Metallica at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concerts in New York in 2009, both parties decided that they wanted to make more music together. Reed then asked the band to take his piece to the next level. The end result is this two-CD collaboration
