Summary
Journey to the Gemworld! Amy Winston used to think her life could not get any weirder. After all, how many teens have moms who move them around constantly and force them to learn sword fighting? Little did she know, the weirdest part was still to come. Amy learns that in another world, she is actually royalty - Princess Amaya of House Amethyst. When her mother transports them to their true home in Nilaa, Amy enteres a new world of magic ... and danger. Amy's aunt, the ruthless Lady Mordiel, rules Nilaa and House Amethyst, but her power is threatened by her family's return. Amaya faces danger not just in her new home, but from the one she left. Earth has its own magic, and while Amy's new friend John Constantine mostly uses it for good, others want to destroy Earth and Nilaa ... and they'll happily use Amaya to do so. Can this inexperienced princess use her newfound powers to defend both her birth world and her adopted home? Or will the destruction of Nilaa begin with the fall of House Amethyst?" -- Page [4] of cover
