Summary
The director of a world famous champagne house, Philippe Pozzo di Borgo was accustomed to a certain level of independence. In 1993, his wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and shortly thereafter, he became a quadriplegic in a paragliding accident. Stuck in his apartment for days on end, he felt isolated from the world, until an Algerian immigrant neighbor reached out to help--thus changing both men's lives forever
